Real Knicks Fans | Lebron 2010 NY

Everyone knows i’m a Kobe hater, but props to him and his supporting cast for taking the trophy this year. I cannot remember a team without a second dominant player winning a championship. I don’t know, maybe i’m selling Gasol short, but in my book Kobe made a huge statement this year.

I was rooting for the Magic but Stan Van Grumpy managed to fuck it all up by letting Jameer Nelson back into the lineup. Results were that no flow on offense and the team never got into a groove. The Van Gundy bros are still titleless. Next time Jeff should get out there and hump someones leg to get his team amped.

I was gonna throw a Kobe pic up there but fuck all that, heres a Lakers girls crotch shot instead. Much better….

26 lead changes, 13 ties and a no closing skills down the stretch hand the Knicks another loss. This one hurt in the playoff hunt and will make things that much more difficult form here on out. They lost 2 of the games we had them winning to get 41 and would somehow have to pick those up against the leite teams we have them losing too. Not easy. In fact, fuck it… impossible. I’m calling the season as of tonight. Probably late in some peoples books but I was holding out hope that the trade would give them the legs they needed. Fact is the trade fucked with the flow of the team and they still don’t know how to close things out.

The Knicks are currently 4.5 out of hte 8th spot behind Bucks Bulls Pacers Nets and Larry Brown’s Bobcats (take that Jimmy D). here’s a breakdown of the next 22 to see what the winable games are that get us to 40, the number Coach thinks ends our playoff drought.

vs Bobcats March 7th: WIN. Larry still cant win in the Garden. A loss here spells trouble heading into the roadtrip.

LOSS 114-105

at Nets March 8th: WIN. Hopefully they continue to pick off teams ahead of them in the standings.

LOSS 106-101

at Bucks March 10th: WIN. See above

WIN  120-112

at Pistons March 11th: WIN. Five in a row.

WIN 116-111

at Wolves March 13th: WIN.

WIN 102-94

at Lebron March 15th: LOSS Knicks get no wins from the Cavs this year. Streak over at five.

vs Nets March 18th: Win. I will be hung over and in the house for this game the day after St. Patricks day . Hopefully the Knicks play well for the homecoming after the long road trip.

vs Kings March 20th: Win. The Maloof brothers treated the team to Ricks Cabaret the previous night and they are too hung over from Russian stripper sex to play well.

vs Magic March 21st: Win. A win after the back end of a back to back against one of the top 5 teams in the NBA ??…Remember they have to get to 40 wins here.

at Magic March 23rd: LOSS Payback from the last game. Boys are gassed.

at Clippers March 25th: Win. Nate gets his revenge with a high scoring game AND a win.

at Nawlens’ March 27th: Loss. No cure for the CP3 disease.

at Bobcats March 27th: Win. The youth of Charlotte is starting to show.

at Jazz March 27th: Loss.

at Nuggets March 31st: Loss.

at RaptorsApril 4th: Win. Time off to think about the last 2 games and the need for a final push. Coach gets em motivated.

vs Raptors April 5th: Win. This home and home to TO is getting played out. Twice in a season? Come on Stern get your act together.

vs Bulls April 7th: Win.

at Pistons April 8th: Loss. Still some fight left in AI and the Pistons. Joe Dumars wont go out like a sucka and miss the playoffs.

vs Magic April 10th: Loss. Majic will be on a strong run going into the playoffs.

vs heat April 12th: Win. Wade doesnt drop 24 in the 4th quarter on our court. Last home game until the playoffs ends with a W.

at Nets April 15th: Win. Hello Playoffs.

The New York Knicks (24-32) welcome The Orlando Magic (41-15) and Dwight Howard to the Garden tonight for the first time this year.
I’m looking for a good performance from the squad tonight, as the Stephon Marbury saga is now in the rearview mirror.

I hope the team is up to the challenge tonight and can capitilize on the fact that The Magic been struggling a bit lately. They are coming in after the loss to the Chicago Bulls last night (120-102). Dwight Howard led the way as usual with 26 points.  He of course will be the force that we need to stop. Hopefully Nate can poster-ise Howard in a real game this time.

I have a feeling that this is going to be an exciting game.

Knicks humiliated the Raptors 127-97

From reading the reports on the game last night ( i didn’t watch) The Knicks were pumped yesterday.
They were probably excited to be hearing about NOW with the chance to make the playoffs this year, not about the free agents of 2010.

They play the second part of this home/home against the Raptors Sunday.
Lets all hope for the same kind of result as they did last night?
