CANT STOP EM’

Last night the Celtics proved why they are the best in league. They came out fighting and hit 78% in the first quarter and never looked back. The Knicks showed some toughness by not rolling over and fought to bring it close a few times. But Rondo just would’nt let it happen. Now some people out their, like this guy, think Rondo is the second coming of Dennis Johnson, please take it easy. Last night he had a career game against one of the weakest defenses in the league. He’s a position guy on a team filled with 2 HOF players and a possible third. Chris Duhon would just as good as good in that system.

It was still  was fun to watch Q back up his mouth with a good shooting night and Nate play hard as usual. That dunk he had off of Al Harrington’s missed shot is going to be top 5 of the year. He skied, and even the Celtic faithful had to pay respect.

Knicks Lose: 124-105

  1. It’s unbelievable how easily Rondo was able to drive in and get open lay-ups.
it lokked like Nate couldn’t get the basics of defending the pick and roll.
As for the rest of the team if your shots aren’t falling, they gotta try a little harder on the defensive side, Al i’m looking at you.

  2. Classic Celtics pic, those were one bunch of handsome fellas. An era marked by short shorts, fierce no-looks, jump hooks and players that played their hearts out, night in and night out. The parody to the league today is pretty sad… stamp a star on my dome, lace me up with about $20 mil and put me in coach. Oh what? You don’t actually have to play either??? A plague runs awry in the league. Time for some reformation… and bring on the king.
