Happy New Year indeed. ESPN.com is reporting that NYK cancer Stephon Marbury will look to sign with the Boston Celtics once his release is negotiated with the team. It has long been rumored that the Knicks will release Steph once the new year begins for tax reasons against this years losses to Jimmy Dolans w-2’s.
This is great, not only will the lid coming off story this help to get the price of his negotiation down, we also get to speculate on how much commotion it will cause in Boston. It seems to make sense on paper, a vet going to a good team to add some legs off the bench, but I have no doubt that if he becomes a Celtic he will figure out a way to blow up the chemistry of that team. When it’s done it could be a win-win for the Knicks, we get rid Steph and he ends up with a division rival upseting any chance they had a repeat.

The Celtics would be crazy to take Dudbury. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Big Burgers could see some PT this week, playing time that is, not Pizza Tacos.
I think he might like to see Pizza Tacos more than Playing Time. His best move of the season was his assist of Chris Duhon from the court after he got elbowed.
