WE ALL NEED A FORTY

With Dantoni announcing the boys will win 40 this year it got me thinking about beer, it is Friday after all. The last time i heard this much talk about 40’s i was 15. You can officially add the New York Knicks to the likes of Country Club, Ballentine, O Gold, Colt 45, Cobra, St. [...]

KryptoNate Vs Superman Round 2

The New York Knicks (24-32) welcome The Orlando Magic (41-15) and Dwight Howard to the Garden tonight for the first time this year.
I’m looking for a good performance from the squad tonight, as the Stephon Marbury saga is now in the rearview mirror.
I hope the team is up to the challenge tonight and can capitilize [...]

Done

via AP:
Stephon Marbury was waived Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, by the New York Knicks, ending a turbulent five-year stint in which the former All-Star couldn’t lead his hometown team to a single playoff victory. Marbury is one of the highest-paid players in the NBA, set to make close to $21 million this season, but has [...]

By the skin of their teeth

Knicks humiliated the Raptors 127-97
From reading the reports on the game last night ( i didn’t watch) The Knicks were pumped yesterday.
They were probably excited to be hearing about NOW with the chance to make the playoffs this year, not about the free agents of 2010.
You can see the highlights here.
They play the second part [...]

ARREST MADE IN CURRY’s ExGIRL & CHILD MURDER

Good news to report. Chicago Police have made an arrest in the alleged killer of Eddie Curry’s baby’s mama and child. Assuming it’s the boyfriend that earlier in the day had an altercation with the family.

PROTEGE SUBWAY

Stepped onto the train yesterday with my Steve’s Bagels coffee and Daily news in hand and just as I snuck in front of an old lady to grab a seat i spotted this….Kmart bought out the entire inside advertising panels for one side of the whole car. I was pretty shocked to see it since [...]

TRADE HIGH

Rumors are swirling that we may be saying goodbye to fan favorite D-Lee today. He is my favorite on the team, and i would rather him stay, but my mind is 2010….I dont see any trades that make sense as long as we sign him. But if Donnie doesn’t want to sign him he may be [...]

D-Lee is ECP of the week

Maybe this is the NBA’s version of a consolation prize. After getting D-nied for a spot on the all star team, the NBA has awarded David Lee with the Player of the week award.
Good to see someone paying attention to his strong week where he helped the team go 3-0 and league leading 36 dub [...]

NIGHTMARE FOR KNICKS FANS

This is not how dream week was suppose to start out for us. It pains
me to my spine to say this but…. hats off to Kobe in what was a
dominating and historic night at the garden.
In what Spike Lee dubbed a Roger Marris, Kobe dropped 61 points in  a very pro Laker and fan friendly [...]
