Maybe this is the NBA’s version of a consolation prize. After getting D-nied for a spot on the all star team, the NBA has awarded David Lee with the Player of the week award.
Good to see someone paying attention to his strong week where he helped the team go 3-0 and league leading 36 dub dubs.
Also news coming in that Orlando’s Jamier Nelson may be out of the All-Star mix with a shoulder injury that may lead to a backdoor nod for Lee. He certainly is deserving and would be a good mix to the squad.

d lee does not belong in the all star game.. come on.. WITH ALL THE FOWARDS IN THE EAST HE DOES NOT STAND A CHANCE.. However he is a nice player.
We’ll see how “D LEE” fares against “TIMMY D”.If it is positive, then I’ll buy the “all starism.”Any sign of “BIG BURGERS” I hope he didn’t eat too much over the break.
“Timmy D” is a tough matchup 4 anybody in the league. “DLee” will never b in his league…Come on Roy you have to know that…. “Timmy D” as you also know has the “best hands in the conference”
