This is not how dream week was suppose to start out for us. It pains
me to my spine to say this but…. hats off to Kobe in what was a
dominating and historic night at the garden.
In what Spike Lee dubbed a Roger Marris, Kobe dropped 61 points in a very pro Laker and fan friendly garden. No need for an asterisk here folks, unfortunately
Kobe now holds the Garden point crown.
It’s no secret I hate Kobe. He’s too cocky and has a certain smugness to him.
I’m much happier when he’s getting a mouthful of fist on the
garden floor than when he’s making the game look so so simple.
I don’t blame the Knicks for allowing this on their home court
yesterday, Kobe was determined from the opening tip and when great
players are, there’s very few in the league who can stop them. They pushed him around and fouled
him countless times but still nothing, he was unstoppable on this
night, Feb 2nd 2009.
